Why we made it
Many of us grew up with quiet morning rituals: a lamp lit, a prayer said, a moment of thanks before the day began. Life got faster, and those minutes slipped away.
Rise with Gratitude is our small attempt to bring them back. It is a gentle ten-minute practice of gratitude, affirmations and meditation, with a journal that stays private. It speaks English, Hindi and Malayalam, so you can practise in the language that feels like home, wherever home is today.
How we build it
- Calm, not compulsive. No endless feeds, no pressure tactics, no dark patterns.
- Private by design. Your journal stays on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking.
- Honest. The narration voice is AI-generated, and we say so. The app is a wellness practice, not therapy.
A note from the founder
I designed Rise with Gratitude for my own mornings first. I wanted ten quiet minutes that begin with thanks, not with a phone full of noise, and I wanted them in the languages my family actually speaks.
Every screen in the app went through one question: does this help someone feel a little calmer, or is it only asking for their attention? Your journal stays on your phone because what you write in a quiet moment should belong only to you.
